This 16th Century red sandstone barn has
been skillfully converted to
the highest standard into four superb cottage style ground
and first floor apartments with a wealth of exposed
beams and stone walls.
 The
cottages have been beautifully furnished with colour co-ordinated
carpets and fabrics but care has been taken to ensure that
each cottage retains its own individual charm.
A four poster bed and cosy wood burning
stove create a wonderful ambience for any special occasion.
The village post office and store is approximately a two
minute walk away, also an excellent pub and restaurant, while
the hotel next door also provides very good food.
Accommodation
Each apartment has fully equipped kitchen with oven, hob,
microwave, washer/dryer, iron etc.
The spacious sitting room/dining room has c olour
TV, video and CD player/radios and wood burning stove.
- Oil fired central heating and electricity included.
- Logs available at £3.50 per basket.
- Bathrooms with bath and electric shower over.
- Bedroom with four-poster bed.
 All
bed linen and towels provided.- Each apartment sleeps two people.

- Open all year round for three night and four night breaks

West is an excellent location in the heart of the beautiful
Wye Valley, on the edge of the Forest
of Dean and on the Welsh border.
Spectacular views from Symonds Yat Rock
can be reached by ferry across the River Wye
and then up a steep woodland path.
There is an abundance of wild life, beautiful
walks, canoeing on the river Wye, castles, bike riding
in the forest, bird watching, fishing, horse riding, hot air
balloon flights, museums and several golf courses a few  minutes
away - something to appeal to everyone
